I have a 20 month old and had 3 miscarriages before he was conceived. Witih all three pregnancies insomnia was my first reliable pregnancy sign, waking up for the day anywhere between midnight (yes, midnight!) and 5am. I never did find a solution except to go to bed earlier when I needed. A few times I went to bed at 6pm and at least would get 6 hours of sleep! I also brought a camp sleep pad and sleeping bag to work and would take a nap.
